Francesco Luporosso

My name is Francesco Luporosso and I come from Ravenna, a small town in Italy. I worked for 2 years in my private shop. I always used to travel, doing conventions and working in other shops as a guest. In November 2018 I decided to travel more and I started tattooing travelling. Doing guest spots and conventions. Now I currently guest in Rome,Magliana Vice Tattoo and Seville,Lacrimas Negras Tattoo.

I like all the types of traditional tattoo. Tribal, American or Japanese but I  have always loved Japanese art since I was young.

When I discovered Japanese traditional tattoo I decided I would love to do that. I am so influenced by western tattooing because I like the bold and solid approach.

Bryce Davies

Bryce Davies is a professional Graffiti and Tattoo Artist based in Cardiff. With around 20 years experience painting murals on walls, Bryce has worked on large scale projects for a long list of clients that include local councils, corporate companies, festivals, Tv and Theatre productions, circus’s and private clients alike.

9 years ago Bryce started tattooing in a geometric and dotwork style that at the time, was very niche. Having developed his style during that time, and with the ever increasing popularity of tattooing, Bryce felt the need to keep moving forward and find new ways to be original and stand out from the crowd. Something clicked into place, and Bryce found that he could bring his Graffiti and Tattoo worlds together. He found that by painting his tattoo designs in Spray-paint and then tattooing them in a dot-work style in a way that imitates the textures made by spray paint, it was as if the tattoos were actually spray painted on the body. This is a highly original approach to designing tattoo flash, that is unique to Bryce and the clients that wear his Art.

While most of Bryce’s commissioned Graffiti work is very clean and polished, he has found that the tattoo work translates better when the paintings designed for tattoos are kept loose, and with expressive marks, reminiscent of the Japanese brush stroke style. This shows the imperfections and splats caused by spray paint which makes the texture and finished product all the more interesting and real.

Marcel Joaquim

My name is Marcel Joaquim and I’m a professional tattoo artist from Göttingen, Germany and owner of Black Hand Tattoo Parlor in Sieboldshausen, Germany.
I’m 31 years old and I’m doing tattoos professionally since September 2017.
But It all started on April, the 1st, 2014. On this day I got a tattoo from a good friend who was also
the best tattoo artist in our region at that time.
For the first time I got tattooed on an area where I had a pretty good look on the whole process.
While I was watching how he tattooed, I was getting more and more fascinated every minute, and I couldn’t stop watching.
I can remember that I thought, I think I could do that too!  And I was right.
About nine months later I bought my first professional tattoo equipment and did my first tattoo on
myself. Pretty soon I already had a lot of requests and I was tattooing many of my friends in that time.
For the next two years I was only doing tattoos as a hobby, as I was studying economics in university, had a job and was traveling a lot.

In 2017, I finally realised that tattooing is all what I want to do. I just knew that I found my passion and to achieve my goals the only opportunity was to get rid of all the rest. So I quit the jobs, left the university and started focusing exclusively on tattooing. I decided to become self-employed and with the help of my girlfriend Nicole we rebuilt one room in our flat into a small but very nice tattoo studio. Pretty soon, the quality of my works increased with every tattoo and soon after I wasn’t able to handle the requests anymore. And we just couldn’t do it anymore in our home.
It wasn’t just friends anymore, and some people came a long way just to get a tattoo from me. Right at that time, two very good friends of mine bought a big property in the village were I live. They offered me a really beautiful and big room where I could open my first own atelier-like shop in October 2018 – the Black Hand Tattoo Parlor.
One of my best friends started with his own business in the same property and so we established the “New Plaze out of Town”. A collaboration of four businesses all based in the same location.
We have just started and are currently developing every day. But the future will hold great things.
Meanwhile my girlfriend Nicole took over all management tasks, what led to a much more professional process and gives me the time to focus exclusively on doing what I love most –
creating awesome tattoos.
I would describe my style as black and grey realism with a high grade of details.
I’m often described as a very gentle tattooist, and my works usually heal very fast.
This year is the first time that I’m attending a tattoo convention. My first will be the International
Berlin Tattoo Convention in August and I can’t wait to be part of the Dublin International Tattoo Convention in November.
Cheers,
Marcel.
